Rufus Wainwright Marries Jorn Weisbrodt in Montauk Wedding

According to the New York Post, the 39-year-old musician and his theater-producer fiancé exchanged their vows in front of 250 guests, including Lou Reed, Julianne Moore, Yoko Ono, Carrie Fisher and Mark Ronson.
Artist Marina Abramovic and comedian Irving Benson both made speeches during the reception, held at the Clam Bar in nearby Napeague.
Wainwright, an outspoken same-sex marriage advocate, became engaged to Weisbrodt in November 2010. They are the parents of 18-month-old daughter Viva Katherine Wainwright Cohen, whom Rufus fathered with Lorca Cohen, the daughter of the legendary Leonard Cohen.

WE DID, as a civil society WE CREATED law and decided that 18 was an adult (in NY, lower in other states) You say a child at the age of 11, 12 isn't an adult to make decisions that she/he's in love, but an 11 yr. old can change the mind of a President (his daughter) . A 9, 10, & 11 yr. old can have a child, so in '"Mothers Natures" so according to her that 11 yr. old is ripe and old enough to procreate and be responsible to raise a child. Also, when my daughter is 11 yrs. old Liberals believe she is old and mature enough to go to plan parenthood, have an abortion (KILL LIFE) without my consent, or my knowledge of her doing so (More liberal genius, and their pursuit to destroy civil society.) Now, you'll probably want to write something like, "I'm talking about a mature adult, who has the brain to reason, yada, yada, yada." Let me in form you that the cognative part of the brain (good decisions/bad decisions part), doesn't fully develop until the age of 27. Now act like a typical Liberal when confronted with facts and post something like "You're an idiot," "You're a hater."

At least that way everyone can have the same rights, and no more controversy over who should be allowed to marry and who shouldn't.

I also believe men shouldn't consider marriage until they are in their 30s. You asked what I meant by age appropriate relationship - at least the ages of this couple appear to be in that age range of each other.

Pedophilia creates victims. Homosexuality does not. THAT is the difference. She will grow up confused over why she does not have a mother and father like most other children have. A child needs the balancing influences of both a mother and a father, male and female. As far as I'm concerned, their so called marriage is that in name only. God does not recognize it and neither do I.
