Mark Abrahamian Dead: Starship Guitarist Dies From Heart Attack at 46

Road manager Scott Harrison says Abrahamian died Sunday night after performing at the DeVent Center. He was 46.
Harrison says an autopsy was done Monday.
Starship was the opening band for a concert that also featured Survivor and Boston.
Harrison says that after Starship performed, Abrahamian went to the dressing room and complained about not feeling well. He collapsed and was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Abrahamian joined Starship 11 years ago. Starship's history goes back to the 1960s with Jefferson Airplane and in 1980s Jefferson Starship.
Abrahamian lived in Austin, Texas. Funeral services are pending.

The pressures are tremendous especially on tours. Recording sessions are nightmares where you have to do every song over and over until it's just perfect and until you just hate the song and never want to hear it again. There's the petty rivalry between band members (about who's the greatest that the band would fall dead without), and then there's the manager, the devious manipulating man-behind-the-scenes who makes off with the cash. Under the circumstances it's a wonder stars live as long as they do.

The heart has not had the time to develop branching vessels that often occur after a blockage begins. The longer you live with a blockage, the more time your body has to develop these so that some blood flow can continue somewhat Young people without symptoms often dont think about getting checked for heart disease, but it is very important to do so.
