Kitten, 'G#' -- Video Premiere

Kitten's frontwoman, Chloe Chaidez, may be too young to legally buy cigarettes, but the 17 year old has an enchanting voice that lends a cinematic quality to the band's music. When shooting the video for "G#," a song off their new album Cut It Out, Kitten captured the larger-than-life vibe of the song.

"'G#' is a big song that needed a big video," Chaidez tells Spinner. "It feels like a mini-movie. Kind of "Apocalypse Now" meets "The Outsiders," to us anyway."

In addition to showcasing Chaidez's powerful vocals, the video captures the lethargy brought on by long days in the summer heat. Kitten pushed through the scorching temperatures for three days straight while filming.

"People keep asking us where we found the actors, but they're all our close friends and are actually real-life couples," Chaidez says. "It made the whole process of shooting that much more fun. We shot for three days in the extreme desert heat of the Salton Sea, which could have been a bitch, but it ended up being a great time. We all knew that we were making something really cool."
