Lazerbeak, 'Lift Every Voice' -- Best Songs of 2012 You Probably Haven't Heard

When he's not supplying the crushing backbone beats for hip-hop collective Doomtree, producer Lazerbeak can be found making some truly eclectic instrumentals. His skills can be found on his 2012 solo album Lava Bangers, a collection of unreleased material that ranges from hypnotic R&B to club-ready dance tracks.

But the standout is the album's closer, "Lift Every Voice." Layering organs, horns, choral intonations, piano lines and guitar riffs over entrancing drum hits, Beak crafted a song so triumphant and that it would be perfect for a blowout pool party behind the gates of heaven.
