After 11 days of red carpets, concerts, parties, celeb spotting and, of course, actual films, the 2012 edition of the Toronto International Film Festival has come to a close.

While this year's festival and festivities couldn't quite match the overwhelming musical star power of 2011 when U2, Pearl Jam and Neil Young all came to town to promote their latest films, it still provided music lovers with plenty of rocking and thought-provoking viewing material.

Documentaries about artists like Michael Jackson and Snoop Lion, musicals, and the world's weirdest (and most awesome) concert film dominated the silver screen at TIFF 2012.
