"'Preachers' was the first song written after we decided to start making a new record. I sat down at the piano and came up with this little line and 30 minutes later it evolved into this hot mess of dark, sinister blues," Klein tells Spinner.
"It felt so good i think we played it thirty times that first day. We were exorcizing our demons with rock 'n' roll. Although I'm not a religious person, I do believe creativity and spirituality are deeply intertwined. The vibe of 'Preachers' really inspired us and set the tone for the rest of the songs that followed, so it felt natural to name the album after it."
