Dirty Heads:
Top of the world! Aspen, Colo.
With more than two-thirds of the tour out of the way we're finally making our way West -- closer to home. We can't help but to think back on the last week of amazing music with our friends. We linked up with our hometown family, HBSS, in Austin at the world famous Stubb's BBQ. Even the 104-degree heat couldn't put a damper on the energy from that incredible outdoor show.
Last day of Sublime with Rome's tour. Saying goodbye to Josh Freese with a duct-tape mustache and a delicious bottle of wine.
The heat wave followed us through the Midwest but we were finally able to shake it in Denver. Oh, sweet Denver. For some reason (maybe it's the greens) this mountain town never seems to disappoint. Some of the most insane shows we have ever played have been here. The next day we spent in a little town called Assssspen (I don't know Lloyd, the French are assholes). We had the opportunity to take a romantic gondola ride to the top of the mountain and play nine holes at the highest Frisbee golf course in the world.
We have the best fans in the world.
We're now in the Southwest and will be back in Southern California this next week for a string of home shoes. We're all very excited to see our friends and family. We will be in attendance at the Los Angeles Angels game on Thursday Sept. 13 to watch Duddy throw out the first pitch. I've got a bet going with Jon Jon that says he dirts it.
New Mexico: Let's start a drum circle!
We'd all like to thank everyone who's helped support this tour so far and everyone that we'll be seeing very soon.
