Musicians commit crimes all the time. There was a point a few years back when if Pete Doherty or DMX weren't causing some kind of legal problem there was some genuine concern that the earth might be veering off its axis.

Normally you take this stuff as it comes: with clockwork predictably, like if Suge Knight's involved somehow, or with bizarre randomness, like when Lamb of God's Randy Blythe was charged with murder in Prague over the death of a fan.

For whatever reason, though, this week in music history was particularly rich in bizarre music crime stories. So much so that we decided to dedicate the whole week to legal matters, baby.

To find out what P.M. Dawn, Willie Nelson, Jim Morrison and more did to make the police blotters this week in history, click to the launch the gallery below.
