Late Night Alumni, 'Shine' -- Video Premiere
Ultra
The quartet, which includes singer Becky Jean Williams and house producer Kaskade, filmed the video live at the Masonic Temple in Salt Lake City, and will be releasing the entire concert as part of a live DVD on Oct. 30.
"The Beat Becomes a Sound happened over the span of a few months in various locations and came together in pieces as a collaboration of beats, melodies, thoughts and emotions," Williams tells Spinner. "The theme of the album references that moment when these previously unspoken things become actual sound waves and enter our lives as tangible ideas to be experienced by others."
Draped in a white gown, bathed in pink and purple lights, Williams sings calmly in the video, her unique vocals backed by her bandmates, to the approval of the crowd. Check it out below, and grab The Beat Becomes a Sound, in stores Dec. 11.
