This is my favorite song of all time; however, the video needs to reflect the despair of that song and it doesn't do that at all. I mean you look great, Adele, but strolling the Thames even on a cloudy day is not the backdrtop I pictured for that song, sorry. And you look far too terrific for the lyrics. I'm not an art director, just an ardent fan, but you need little or no makeup, hair definitely disheveled, and the final chorus of your song needs to show the emotion your voice conveys with the
sing-cry intonation. A tearful cheek would be how I see it. No hysterical crying, just a solo tear down your cheek and fade to black. Your song is wonderful and I'm wild about the last chorus. You have so-o much soul I was hoping to see a litte more of it in the video. Thanks and I hope you get to, at least, read this. Jim

great job ! could maybe be even better without the backup vocals? but hey Adele she can sing the phone book, dumb saying from idol or the voice? who cares .

No surprise that Adele just an amazing job with this song (she can sing the phone book.) The song itself, I don't care for. Very James Bond, "Diamonds Are Forever," mixed with something else. Will wait for Adele's original stuff.
