Apple Maps Shows Roger Waters' Building The Wall at Boston's Fenway Park

With the invention of applications like Google Maps came images of naked people, people urinating in alleys and general stupidity caught forever online. Now comes word that an Apple Maps application contains an image of a famous baseball stadium.

However the image doesn't show a ball game in progress, but instead a mammoth Roger Waters production.

According to Pink Floyd fan site Brain Damage, the new Apple mapping application for iPhones shows Roger Waters' The Wall stage design in the final stages of construction at Boston's famous Fenway Park.

A photo of the image is shown with the stage on the left hand side of the stadium and what appears to be a white tarp on the field.
It's unclear what date the photo was taken, but it was most likely in late June as Waters played a lone concert at the hallowed venue on July 1. Brain Damage reported Waters originally used Fenway Park as a testing ground to see if the show could logistically work inside baseball stadiums. Waters played a handful of baseball stadiums this past summer including Chicago's Wrigley Field and New York's Yankee Stadium. Reviews of the July 1 show, which featured Pink Floyd's 1979 classic The Wall played in entirety, said Waters' Wall rivaled the venue's famous "Green Monster" -- the unique 37-foot high wall in Fenway's left field which requires epic hits to score homeruns over.

Waters, currently off the road, recently performed at a benefit concert to honor the late Levon Helm. Helm, known for his work in The Band, made a cameo appearance during Waters' performance of The Wall in Berlin back in 1990. Although there's been no confirmation, there's speculation Waters -- who previously mentioned working on new material -- might bring The Wall back on the road for a European stadium trek next summer.
