The announcement comes months after Bruce praised some things President Obama was doing right, but lamented that he was too corporate-friendly. Regardless of his statements, Bruce, who had been quiet on the campaign-front in past weeks, is ready to back Obama once again.
On Tuesday, Oct. 18, Bruce will campaign with Bill Clinton at a rally in Parma, Ohio and head to another rally in Ames, Iowa.
In a statement, Obama campaign manager, Jim Messina said: "Bruce Springsteen's values echo what the President and Vice President stand for: hard work, fairness, integrity. His appearances will help with our get out the vote effort in these critical swing states and we are thrilled with his ongoing support."
Both events are free and open to the public.
Bruce is currently on his Wrecking Ball tour.
