Check out or slideshow of the most famous musical Mormons, both devout and former, below and learn a few things about how the church has affected their lives and careers.

Really?
Perhaps it's just me - in fact I'm sure it is - but I delight in obscure and inappropriate - and possibly unintentional! - references. Like this one.
Probably written by someone who's never heard of MC5, the idea of LDS musicians "Kicking out the jams" seems inappropriate since the rest of the opening to the song is "...muthaf*#kers."
Now that was a great band.
And it was also covered by Blue Oyster Cult

The first reference of the LDS church in any media should always use the full name of the LDS church. Any reference after that can be shortened to LDS. The reason for this is to make no mistake that this is a church that believes in Jesus Christ. If you have questions about the LDS church you can learn more at our website at www.lds.org.

Does Mitt have any of these singers music playing for his campaign because so many other musicians have asked Mitt to stop using their music?......and if not, then why not?

I was taught & I believe strongly, the way to Heaven and our Heavenly Father is thru accepting His Only Son Jesus Christ as our savior and asking Jesus into our heart!~It makes no difference what church or its denomination, you attend, church is for fellowship so as long as they teach the word of GOD as best they can and teach that Jesus is our savior it is all good!!! Mormons I am not sure about or what they're beliefs are so I wont give a opinion... And I will not label Mormans or any group a "Cult" unless my research shows this to be true! To my knowlege Lutherans,Baptists, Assembly Of God etc, theres way too many to list, are all Christian based Church's. You Do Not have to belong to a church and or be a member of any organized religion to believe in God and accept Jesus into your heart!~
I've visited several church's and denominations over the years. I have heard many preach FIRE & BRIMSTONE, this is Angry GOD, and others only love and goodness, this is GOD of love. Most disappointing are those that preach if you're not a member of his congregation then to hell for sure you are going, or if you are not of his denomination' well you'll perish in hell forever! BLAH,BLAH What trash. My Southern Babtist Church in Florida reassured us that AS LONG as we accepted Jesus Christ as our savior and tried to live a life of kindness, honesty etc... we would go Heaven! It didn't matter if we went to his church because Jesus is what mattered...I miss our SBC family and our Paster! God Bless you All!!!
Peace, Love, and GOD!
(Who could ask for anything more?)
Uh, yeah, this is a cult. Joseph smith was on drugs when he told everyone that god chose him as his right hand man. Just another cult with someone trying to gain from someone else loss. Very Sad.

The only thing that makes them "different" is that they believe after the Savior was raised from the dead that he visited the people in The Americas and gave them the gospel, too.
The record of that gospel is The Book of Mormon. That book, has the same pricipals as the Bible, but is considered only another testament to the Savior, and is not meant to eclipse the importance or love of The Bible.
Your view of Mormonism is narrow, impartial and has no truth.
How do you know Joseph Smith was on drugs? How do you know the LDS faith is a cult? What did Joseph Smith have to gain in becoming a poor man, who lost children to illness? What did he have to gain in dying a martyr? He was murdered in cold blood for his beliefs, for his faith in that Jesus Christ loved the children of men so much, that he'd pass on the gospel to not only His people, but the people of the world.
What's very sad to me in this, is that you believe Mormons a "cult" without knowing the true precepts of their beilefs.
I'd disagree with ur comment remark! Mormon is not a cult I'm were raise in the church of l.d.s all my birth life.u can over throw it all ur like .u will one day wake up to ur judgement seat with god.u be so sorry that u shouldn't say what uv thought.it too late.like the flood of Noah .ignorance is whom u r!!

How ridiculous! Do you also wonder how many Jewish, Catholic, Lurheran, Methodist etc, are musical celebrities or famous in the world of entertainment? This attention to the Mormons is so biased it's getting stupid and boring to read the world news and to read anything about celebrities.

Mitt Romney are like us all human begin .we want to follow Christ examples to is love one another . It a wild world out there full of strange.people's good and bad no matter either we are Mormon or not ! No matter where church is or who go to what we all born with the light of Christ in us and it up to us to care or not to care whom we are any one whom abuse laws on this earth are
Accountables for ours own action in good or bad in ours deed of our spirit take with us home to god when we are judge by god. I'm not perfect we all have a purpose to learn and listen from others lives even if we not Mormon there are good people's live
