Now, according to the BBC, Paul McCartney is telling fans to leave Yoko alone. In an interview with famed TV newsman David Frost that will be broadcast next month, Sir Paul said, "She certainly didn't break the group up."
"I don't think you can blame her for anything," he also said, adding that John Lennon was "definitely going to leave" the quartet.
On top of that, McCartney went out of his way to praise Ono's influence on Lennon, claiming that John never would have written "Imagine" without her.
"When Yoko came along, part of her attraction was her avant garde side, her view of things. She showed him another way to be, which was very attractive to him. So it was time for John to leave."
The interview will air on Al Jazeera English TV in November.

I 'd say Sir Paul is a natural kind person to always say good things to other people no matter what went on. We need to see more like him in this world.
