Cat Power Canceling Tour? Singer Battling Illness, Financial Woes

"I MAY HAVE TO CANCEL MY EUROPEAN TOUR DUE TO BANKRUPTCY & MY HEALTH STRUGGLE WITH ANGIOEDEMA. I HAVE NOT THROWN IN ANY TOWEL, I AM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT BEST I CAN DO. HEART BROKEN. WORKED SO HARD. GOT SICK DAY AFTER "SUN" CAME OUT & BEEN STRUGGLING TO KEEP ALL POINTS OF ME IN EQUILIBRIUM : MIND, SPIRIT, BODY HEALTHY CENTERED & GROUNDED. I AM DOING THE BEST I CAN. I FUCKING LOVE THIS PLANET. I REFUSE TO GIVE UP. THOUGH I MAY NEED TO RESTRATAGIZE FOR MY SECURITY & HEALTH."
Marshall's appropriately all-caps screed seems like a cry for help, just a month before she's set to play Amsterdam. The singer sites angioedema (rapid swelling of skin tissue) and bankruptcy as causes for the possible tour cancellation.
According to Minnesota's The Current, Marshall began her anxiety-ridden Twitter and Instagram messages just before taking the stage at Mill City Nights on Tuesday evening. At one point during the concert, the singer actually kicked several credentialed photographers out of the show while telling the audience, "I'm here for you, I'm not here for them."
Cat Power has not cancelled her tour yet, but things don't look good. Here's hoping she gets her problems under control soon.

those problems are not that uncommon in this industry even for those in the mainstream which this young lady certainly is not
