Grimes Cancels Tour, Cites Health Problems

Grimes' Claire Boucher has announced that she is canceling her upcoming European tour. As Spinner previously reported, the singer scrapped several Canadian shows earlier this month due to a bout with tinnitus.

"It's depressing to cancel more shows, but we have to cancel all Grimes dates in Europe due to health issues :(" Boucher tweeted earlier this afternoon. "im having hearing problems and im supposed to limit my exposure to loud noise for as long as possible."

Tinnitus is a hearing condition caused by exposure to loud noise. The result is high-frequency ringing in the ears.

Grimes later tweeted that she would update fans on which shows will be rescheduled in the future. Dealing with tinnitus at only 24-years-old is pretty tough, so hopefully this bleep-blooper gets better soon. Check out Grimes' upcoming tour dates below, as they are cancelled.
