Adele, Diet: Singer Will Lose Weight for Health or Sex Life

Even with multiple Grammys to her name, Adele can't escape criticism about her weight. Everyone from Noel Gallagher to Karl Lagerfeld have commented on the "Rolling in the Deep" singer's size.

While the songstress has admitted she "doesn't care" what people think of her figure, she has addressed the subject, as revealed in an excerpt from a new, unauthorized book about her life.

"I read a comment on YouTube that I thought would upset me -- 'Test pilot for pies' -- but I've always been fine with it," she's quoted as saying in Chas Newkey-Burden's Adele: A Biography. "I would only lose weight if it affected my health or sex life, which it doesn't."

Even Lady Gaga has spoken out on the new mother's weight, noting that the singer's talent overshadows her physique.

"Adele is bigger than me, how come nobody says anything about it?" Gaga told Stylist magazine. "She's so wonderful and I think her confidence is something I have to match. She has set the bar very high for a lot of women."

a couple generations ago Adele would have been considered an absolute knock out, and in some ways she is bringing back the full woman's figure.

Leave Adele alone and just let her sing. Besides, Noel could use a nose job. At least Karl was man enough to apologize and send her a purse. We have enough young girls commiting suicide over society's foolish demands. An old man like Noel should offer words of encouragement to Adele and if he has to criticize, it should be done so constructively with the highest regard as if he's talking to his own mother. Now, let me go listen to some of Adele's lovely songs. It's been awhile. Keep up the up the good work young queen.

You have the gift,ability and finance to become your best in all aspects of your life. Listen to your inner self. If it is telling you to get fit as a long term self investment,then DO IT.

ADEL is a breath of fresh air, full of life, and pure. It's her purity that has made her so attractive. she's an artist that presents this in all areas and she does not try to make herself or her music into something it's not. This woman has stayed true to herself and her music. Her fans actually know who she is because of this, she has allowed us to know her and we love her for that. She's well loved here in America

Thank God she has enough confidence to go with what feels right for her. We have too many anorexics running around TOTALLY CONSUMED about lbs. More to life than lbs.

Adele is one of the greatest singers of our time.
She will be around alot longer than any rap singer!
We don't care about your weight, Adele!
You're beautiful to us no matter what your size.
Besides, just tell them that YOU are the one running to the bank.
