Heart, 'Dear Old America' Video Premiere: A Salute to Veterans

Last month, Heart's Ann and Nancy Wilson announced their plans to honor the men and women who fight for our freedom every day. Now, on this Veterans Day, the sisters have released "Dear Old America," a video featuring personal photos of American vets, sent directly to the band from Heart fans.

"The brave faces in this video bring home the powerful feelings of men and women serving their country; feelings also plain in the heart-rending expressions of the families, whether saying 'Welcome home' or 'Vaya con dios,'" the Wilsons tell Spinner.

"The unbreakable strands of love and support that connect these families and their fighting men and women are wrapped tightly around the American heart, and we thank all the families who contributed precious images for this video. This is our song for all of us ... for the heart and soul of 'Dear Old America.'"

The touching photographs are accompanied by one of Heart's most rocking tunes to date. Gnarly electric guitars and Ann's soaring vocals show the band in true form on "Dear Old America." Check out the video below and have an excellent Veteran's Day.
