The Killers Cancel Shows Because Brandon Flowers 'Can't Sing'

The Killers had to cut their most recent show in Manchester, England short after Brandon Flowers started losing his voice. According to Billboard, Flowers had been battling a sore throat and was unable to hit the necessary notes to put on a good show.

"I'm sorry. I've never had to do this before but we've gotta stop. I can't sing," the obviously frustrated Flowers told the sold-out Manchester Arena. "I don't know what else to tell you. I'm sorry. It's frustrating for me, I'm sorry. I promise that we will come back."

In the video below, Flowers goes on to mention that former Joy Division bassist and Manchester legend Peter Hook was in the audience, and that the whole "not being able to sing" thing was hugely embarrassing.

The Killers have since taken to Facebook to reassure fans that they'll get what they came for, eventually."Manchester, we started something we couldn't finish and we're so, so sorry," they said. "Working on rescheduling tonight and tomorrow's shows. Will let you know new dates ASAP."

Hopefully Flowers will heal up alright before the band's upcoming weekend shows in London. Get well soon Brandon!
