Def Leppard, Divorce: Guitarist Vivian Campbell Separates From Wife

Bringin' On the Heartbreak ... Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell has filed for divorce from his wife Julie Campbell ... after a 25 YEARS of marriage, TMZ has learned.

Campbell -- who joined Leppard in 1992 -- filed docs in Los Angeles County Superior Court ... citing irreconcilable differences.

According to docs ... the rock-star couple tied the knot waaaaay back in Feb. 1987. They have two young daughters together, ages 13 and 11.

Campbell is asking for joint legal and physical custody of the girls ... he's asking the judge to deny spousal support to Julie.

We reached out to Vivian for comment ... so far no word back.

After 25 years of marriage, Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell has filed for divorce from his wife Julie Campbell, according to TMZ.

Vivian filed the papers in L.A., citing irreconcilable differences.

They have two daughters together, 13-year-old Lily Rose and 11-year-old Una Marigold, and TMZ reports that Campbell is asking for joint legal and physical custody of them. He also asked the judge to deny spousal support to Julie.

Vivian joined Def Leppard in 1992, following the death of their former guitarist, Steve Clark.

Vivian and his wife married in 1987.
