In Their Words: "Morgan Z is next level. His Chrome Canyon project is a complete visionary work. Its is a synthesizer-fiend's timeless dream. I kept that jam "Memories of a Scientist" on repeat for a couple days straight when Peanut Butter Wolf laced me with the promo CD a couple months back. At that time of being completely obsessed, I had actually cut the entire Chrome Canyon album to tape, and pitched the recording down via tape machine for a new "chopped & screwed" tape syrup version of the album, just for kicks, to play at DJ gigs, or on my weekly dublab.com radio show ... to show to friends. I'd made a couple of trap-style hip-hop edits from tape, and showed the Stones Throw posse what i was working on. They enjoyed it so i flushed it out a bit more, and a Matthewdavid remix was born!"
