In Their Words: "Karen and Doug started playing this drum/bass groove to get practice going and I didn't want to mess it up so I just started quietly bending guitar strings. The triumphant guitar melody came out of no-where, so the words became this desperate love song for someone you didn't know, someone you almost knew but had lost somehow, like in a dream. It was like the news ticker below the cable news -- 'lost elderly couple in blue sedan' or whatever.
