In Their Words: I wrote this song in the hope that it would be more of a 'story' and the lyrics in that sense are quite self explanatory. It's about break-up and being in that inbetweeny place of not really separating yet. The protagonist shows up at their other half’s place a bit worse for wear and ends up sleeping in the living room (again) ... totes not cool. The protagonist laments sleeping in the living room as opposed to the bedroom and the differences that rooms have in terms of personal closeness to someone.
