Zombie-mania is running as fast and wild as the super-charged version that ate (almost) everyone in 28 Days Later. Between the imminent mid-season finale of The Walking Dead, the new trailer for World War Z starring Brad Pitt, and general Mayan End of Days zombie apocalypse paranoia, excitement about the bloody brain-eaters is about as unavoidable as the creatures themselves. Hell, zombies are even invading video games, from ZombiU for Nintendo's new Wii U console to en entire zombie mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

You'd basically have to hide out having pointless arguments at a farm in the middle of nowhere for an entire infuriating television season to avoid the pop-cultural undead these days. Amd that includes not listening to music because zombies have somehow lurched their way in there, too.
