Cole Plante, 'Bring Back the Boom' -- Song Premiere

Cole Plante is the youngest DJ to ever headline electronic music's Identity Festival. He's performed with chart-topping artists such as Avicii. Oh, and he's featured in an upcoming EDM documentary. It's fair to say he is bringing back the boom.

In case anyone missed the memo, the 16-year-old DJ is reminding us in the form of his new digital single, "Bring Back the Boom." The track opens with a fast beat, layering more and more rhythm until he injects with vocals.

"I wanted to pay homage to the '90s breakbeat sound and added a reggae bass line," Plante tells Spinner RPM. "I infused all of this into the new programming approach of dub-step."
