In case anyone missed the memo, the 16-year-old DJ is reminding us in the form of his new digital single, "Bring Back the Boom." The track opens with a fast beat, layering more and more rhythm until he injects with vocals.
"I wanted to pay homage to the '90s breakbeat sound and added a reggae bass line," Plante tells Spinner RPM. "I infused all of this into the new programming approach of dub-step."
