A self-described "alround international entertainment mogul," Walser will compete with Skrillex, Avicii, Calvin Harris and Swedish House Mafia at this year's ceremony. He's nominated for his song, ""I Can't Live Without You." It is awful.
The clever minds over at Spin have a theory about how this Liechtensteinian-born, keytar-loving artist/mogul got the nomination, and it's basically due to the fact that he used social media to connect with thousands of Grammy voters. Given that many are most likely pretty out of touch with EDM, his familiar name got penciled in to the bill. And that brings us to the present.
Seriously, if this guy wins, the Grammys will pretty much be flushing their credibility down a dance-club toilet. Meantime, "enjoy" this song.
