IT WAS A GREAT CONCERT EXCEPT FOR 2 THINGS #1 WITH SUCH GREAT ARTISTS, WHY WAS THAT JACKA** KAYNE EAST -NORTH SOUTH OR WHAT EVER THE HECK HE CALLS HIMSELF THERE FOR. I TURNED MY SOUND OFF WHEN HE WAS ON, AND NOTHING AGAINST ALICIA KEYS BUT WITH SUCH GREAT ARTISTS THERE, IMAGINE THE FINALE THEY COULD OF HAD WITH PAUL-JAGGER-CLAPTON-DALTRY-JOEL AND OTHERS SINGING THE FINALE SONG----BIG DISSAPOINTMENT :(

WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT TOTAL FRAUD KANYE WEST DOING THERE?
Did I miss something tonight or is it just me that there was no mention at the 121212 Concert that Ravi Shankar passed away early this morning and that this is the 40th Anniversary of the film documenting the 1971 Concert for Bangladesh at the SAME Madison Square Garden, the first ever benefit concert featuring a supergroup organized for international awareness and fund relief efforts for refugees from Bangladesh following the 1970 Bhola cyclone. Amazing how history repeats itself.

Your closing the show w/your NY song was other worldly/dimension.You are beautiful.brilliant, and genuine in an empathetic fashion. I am so happy I am living in a time in which I can enjoy and marvel at you&your artistry.

December 13 2012 at 2:11 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThis is the best. I passed out and woke up at 9:45 PM just in time to see the Stones. Wow! Still rockin' hot to this day. This concert is amazing and while I live in California now I will always be a Brooklyn girl forever. I'm always in a NYC state of mind. Reminds me of the concerts from the old days. I've seen them all perform from the Filmore East, Carnegie Hall to MSG. Wow! Just like deja vu. I can't stop saying Wow!!! This brings back so many good memories. Wish I was there. Hoping you'll be selling DVD's of this amazing concert. Donated and wish I could give more.
xoxox
Fascinating. I log onto what is supposed to be the video of the concert and am told the "uploader has not made this video available in your country". Duh? I'm right here in New York City where the concert took place. Did New York get moved to ???
December 13 2012 at 1:45 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI watched it when it played live, but was doing other stuff. I started watching the encore performance, but I overloaded my computer and firefox crashed on me, and after the reboot, tried to get it back and I got that also, "uploader has not made this video available in your country." like wtf, I was watching it 2 minutes ago, and now can't get it back...
I saw most of it, was a good show. Stones only played 2 songs, Who played longest set, McCartney was good and played with Dave Grohl. Springston & Bon Jovi played a couple songs together in each of their sets both giving good performance. Roger Waters & Eddie Vedder played well as a dual .... If you get the chance, you should check it out, was a good show.
similar story here...Dammit why did I press the reload key! It was playing when i got up. I wanted to catch the parts from the beginning that I missed, pressed the reload and now cannot view it. Maybe they took it down. Amazing concert Sir Paul@ 70 could you believe it!I

The Boss, Stones, Bon jovi, The Who, Pink Floyd, Billy Joel, Eric Clapton, Alicia Keys, and Sir Paul. Probably the greatest concert ever! After a long day at work, this was a pleasure to come home and watch! And yes, I called and gave!
