In Their Words: "This song was written in the months of concentrated writing and demoing that we spent in the lead up to recording our first album, but I think its lyrical sentiment had perhaps been waiting in a notebook for a good few years before that. The focus of the song is on the feelings of frustration, helplessness and fear I have felt for people I've cared about in the past who have found themselves on self-destructive paths and been unwilling to accept or even acknowledge the support of those around them.
