"Not Fade Away" chronicles a group of friends fighting to make this dream a reality. The movie, which hits theaters Dec. 21, uses a Rolling Stones' television performance as a catalyst to inspire the boys' road to stardom.
The official trailer shows them hitting hurdle after hurdle -- doubtful parents, hesitant record execs, and a move to New York City's East Village. Through all of this, they are urged on by the constant reminder of their talent. (Their story is so realistic, in fact, that the Rolling Stones' former manager/producer Andrew Loog Oldham had to remind himself it was a movie.)
We've got a sneak peek at a scene from the movie. Watch the quartet auditioning in the clip below.
Also, be sure to check out the soundtrack, which will be out digitally tomorrow and features The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, The Sex Pistols, Bo Diddley, Robert Johnson, The Rascals and more!
