Frances Bean Cobain & Courtney Love Trade Merry Christmas Tweets, Daughter Calls Singer 'Kooksmcgee'

After realizing that the world didn't end as the Mayans predicted December 21, the daughter of the late Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love wished her estranged mother happy holidays via Twitter.

"@Courtney merry Christmas kooksmcgee," 20-year-old Frances Bean Cobain tweeted on Christmas Day. According to Eonline, the tweet follows a restraining order the daughter placed against Love three years ago, resulting in limited contact between the duo as Bean went to live with relatives.

The Cobain tweet was not lost on Love who replied to her daughter via Twitter.

"@alka_zeltzer666 that tweet was the best gift ever, its all I need even if its a dammed social network :) miss that little head of yours" before later adding "that beautiful little head, and those long legs. Oh and by the way, sorry about the second hand smoke thing re: baby pic".

Love then followed that up with tweets on her own account.

"Merry Christmas Bean!! she tweeted. "love you more than you could ever know. xmamma". A second tweet added: "that was best Christmas gift ever. proudest mama in the world thank you Bean. means the world to me".

Roseanne Barr then added her two cents worth into the mix saying "happy to hear of family happy!"

The news follows Love's bashing of Paul McCartney's performance during the 12-12-12 benefit concert with the former members of Nirvana. Love told TMZ she was "not amused" by the idea, adding it might be cool if it was the late John Lennon playing with them, and not McCartney.

The song, "Cut Me Some Slack," was performed again by McCartney and the former Nirvana members on Saturday Night Live.
