The post read: "Record is almost finished, and artwork is nearly done. Going to need your help! More to come." SPIN reports, however, that the group will not be reuniting at that a spokesperson said the record isn't new material.
The group's last album, Under the Blacklight was released back in 2007, and the quartet announced they were officially breaking up last year.
The new material they were alluding to is probably a B sides compilation, something that both lead singer Jenny Lewis and lead guitarist Blake Sennett have previously discussed.
Another clue that the record isn't new material can be found in another Facebook post -- a photo of the mirror image of lyrics from the track "A Man/Me/Then Jim" off their 2004 record More Adventurous.
The members of Rilo Kiley also continue to release new solo material, specifically Lewis who is recording solo songs and Sennett whose new band, the Elected, put out their third album Bury Me in My Rings last year.
