There are more than a few musicians who had a plan B. Or more specifically, there are more than a few musicians who abandoned bona fide careers for a chance in the limelight. (And vice versa.)

That's why we went on a research binge. We wanted to know if Rick Ross wasn't the only person who's lived a double life, or that post-secondary schooling wasn't just for Girl Talk.

Well, we were correct.
