Video: "You Were Young"
Highlight: "I think as kids we all looked around at this lethargic flood of ordinary people doing ordinary things and wondered when they compromised," singer/guitarist Devlin tells Spinner. "I remember in high school, settling was something we would never let happen to us. In college settling wasn't a possibility because we were actively pursuing what we believed we were meant to do. But then, at least with most of the people I know, we reach our mid-twenties and it suddenly becomes a paralyzing fear because it feels like the time's running out and deep down we know that we've already made the decisions that define our one and only path. And that choice to 'settle' or 'compromise' or whatever you want to call it, is one we made without knowing it. So one day we just find ourselves as a part of that flood, wondering where it went wrong. And probably still feeling that paralyzing fear that the time is running out up to the moment that it finally does."
