Best Original Song Oscar Nominees: Adele, Seth MacFarlane Gets 2013 Nods

A year after the Academy voted for only two nominations in the Best Original Song category, five tunes are up for the Oscar in 2013. We're not the betting type, but our money is on Adele winning for "Skyfall," because she seemingly gets an award statue every time she gets out of bed.

And the nominees are: "Before My Time" from "Chasing Ice," J. Ralph; "Everybody Needs a Best Friend" from "Ted," Walter Murphy and Seth MacFarlane; "Pi's Lullaby" from "Life of Pi," Mychael Danna and Bombay Jayashri; "Skyfall" from "Skyfall," Adele Adkins and Paul Epworth; "Suddenly" from "Les Miserables," Claude-Michel Schonberg, Herbert Kretzmer and Alain Boublil.

Also, if you're into the Original Score category, here are the nominees: "Anna Karenina," Dario Marianelli; "Argo," Alexandre Desplat; "Life of Pi," Mychael Danna; "Lincoln," John Williams; "Skyfall," Thomas Newman.

The 85th Oscars will take place Feb. 24, with MacFarlane hosting. The ceremony will be broadcast live on ABC.
