Amy Winehouse Spent Final Night Watching YouTube Videos of Herself

In a statement read before St. Pancras Coroners Court, Morris said he heard the 27-year-old artist listening to music and watching television in her room, the Daily Mail reports. At one point, she came out to show him YouTube videos of a man she dated in the past, then returned to her room to watch clips of herself -- something he hadn't witnessed her do in a long time.
Morris admitted that he knew Winehouse was drinking but she "wasn't completely drunk." He last saw her at 2:30AM on July 23, 2011 then checked in on her at 10AM, finding her passed out on her bed, face down and fully clothed. He didn't realize something was wrong until he saw her in the same position at 3PM. He called for help, and paramedics pronounced her dead after they arrived. Her laptop was on the bed next to her, and two empty bottles of vodka were found on the floor nearby.
Winehouse's doctor Christina Romete testified that Winehouse, who battled addiction for years, started drinking again three weeks earlier out of boredom and came in for an appointment the day before she died. "In the course of the last consultation, Amy did not appear to be depressed at any stage," Romete said. "She specifically said she did not want to die."
According to the coroner's report, Winehouse had 416mg of alcohol per decilitre in her blood, five times the legal driving limit (350mg is potentially enough to be fatal). The original inquest was thrown out after deputy coroner Suzanne Greenaway was found to be under-qualified.
