My Dick: The Greatest Band in the World

My Dick
But what makes these cover songs special is the inclusion of the words "my dick" in every single line. That's right, imagine the sexy saxophone riff on "Baker Street" being replaced by "my dick," screamed into the cold night. Or Sting's "Fields of Gold," re-imagined to include "dicks of barley."
It's precisely this type of adolescent humor that we find so goddamn funny here at Spinner. We are children, yes, but when you listen to "Fast Dick," you are going to fall out of your chair.
"We wanted to make the final-ever album, an album that would make creating new additional albums a useless endeavor for all other artists," the band recently told The Frisky. They have certainly succeeded in one way or other.

I think this concept would be a lot more effective if a) they could sing better, thereby lending some legitimacy to it and enhancing the contrast between "real" music and "parody" music and b) they didn't try so hard to sneak the special phrase into every line--it's annoying, and loses it's effectiveness after the 3rd "my dick". But then again, it wouldn't be "My Dick" if that was the case.
