Video: "Kids Get Away"
Highlight: "This is a song about falling in love with someone that was brutally assaulted in Detroit about 2 years ago," singer Ryan Spencer tells Spinner. "I don't actually have personal feelings for this person, but I have always had a strange obsession/fear of violence and death. The lyrical imagery in this song is intense and very relevant to what's going on in Detroit right now. There have been 375 homicides so far in Detroit for 2012. Far more than 2011. This scares the shit out of me. Andy and Amanda did a great job making a horror movie out of lyrics that i wrote to curb my own anxiety."
