Primavera Sound 2013 Lineup: Headliners Include Nick Cave, My Bloody Valentine, Blur, Phoenix & More

Barcelona's Primavera Sound festival has announced its 2013 lineup, and once again, it's stacked.

Taking place on the stone steps of the city's Parc del Fòrum from May 22-25, this year's festival features headliners Phoenix, The Postal Service, Blur, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and My Bloody Valentine, alongside a selection of up-and-comers, reunited legends and perennial favorites.

Joining the headliners are The Knife, Fiona Apple, James Blake, Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, Tame Impala, Wu-Tang Clan, Band of Horses, Hot Chip, Shellac, Jessie Ware, The Breeders, Swans, Daniel Johnston, Neurosis, Solange, Disclosure, Titus Andronicus, DIIV, Bob Mould, Four Tet, Dinosaur Jr., Simian Mobile Disco, John Talabot, Om, Wild Nothing, Fuck Buttons, Daphni, Kurt Vile, Liars, The Sea and Cake and many more.

Primavera has taken place in late Barcelona since 2003, its events sprawling across the city for most of May, popping up in various palm-lined plazas, clubs and bars, before culminating at the Forum.

While this year's lineup is a bit light in the electronic department, the thought of seeing Om and Neurosis with the Wu, Nick Cave and My Bloody Valentine is pretty amazing.
