UPDATE (1/27/13 2:00 PM): Fall Out Boy guitarist Joe Trohman has denied reports that the group is reuniting this year. On his Twitter page, Trohman wrote, "The rumors are still untrue, unreal & totally outta this world! Seriously, it's not going down."
Yep, Fall Out Boy are back. Property of Zack (via Under the Gun Review) broke the news a short while ago saying it's 100% confirmed after years of rumors. According to what we've heard from an extremely reliable source, the band is booked to play a major festival (but we'll leave that to someone else to officially announce).
The group, featuring frontman Patrick Stump and bassist Pete Wentz, went on hiatus in 2009 after seemingly burning out by their time in the spotlight. The members worked on various projects but none matched the success of the pop-punk group. Stay tuned for a formal announcement, we guess.
