Plates of Cake, 'Late Last London' -- Song Premiere

Brooklyn's Plates of Cake are set to release Teenage Evil, the followup to their 2010 full-length eponymous debut. "Late Last London" offers a glimpse into the Colorado-formed band's smooth integration of classic punk-influenced rock and a vocal delivery at once hearkening Bob Dylan and Matt Berninger of the National.

"'Late Last London' kicks off our new record and sets the stage for the rest of the album," the band tells Spinner. "This particular jam is replete with roving bands of teens prowling the streets out for blood, palm-reading gypsy children, a girl who traps miners, an unfortunate wreath-hanging accident and, of course, an epic flood."
