Fun., Grammys 2013: Best New Artist

Fun. have won Best New Artist at the 2013 Grammy Awards.

The band beat out fellow contenders Alabama Shakes, Hunter Hayes, The Lumineers, and R&B artist Frank Ocean.

"I gotta pee so bad, so I'm gonna leave it up to these guys," singer Nate Ruess said excitedly, before letting his bandmates thank all those involved.

"We're so old!" he exclaimed before exiting the stage.

Best New Artist is always a contentious award, raising questions each year as to what constitutes a "new artist." The Recording Academy amended the category requirements in 2010 in an attempt to clear up the confusion, but their efforts simply weren't enough to prevent last year's "Who the hell is Bonny Bear?" meme.
