In what does not appear to be a moment of post-Grammys bliss, drummer Patrick Carney of the Black Keys -- who took home three awards last night for 2012's El Camino -- was cornered by paparazzi while trying to get away from the Staples Center. What did the paps just need to know? For some reason, they asked half of the too-cool-to-wear-tuxes garage rock band about Justin Bieber's lack of nominations. "He's rich, right? ... He should be happy," was what Patrick had to say on the non-issue. [TMZ]
Three-time Grammy nominee Jack White talked about his upcoming single featuring a yet-unannounced Tom Waits cover, as well as the frustration brought about by his superfluous producer role on Butthole Surfers frontman Gibby Haynes' recent project. [Rolling Stone]
The Postal Service premiered "A Tattered Line of String," one of the previously unreleased tracks coming out on their reissue of of 2003's Give Up, on BBC6 Music today. It may not be new, but it's new to us. [Spinner]
According to Deftones frontman Chino Moreno, the band is in the process of pouring over scores of live recordings and plans on releasing a vinyl set of live songs, including earlier recordings from 1995-1997. [SPIN]
Kurt Vile officially announced release details for his upcoming LP, Walkin on a Pretty Daze, due out April 9 on Matador. [Consequence of Sound]
Unfortunately for Fall Out Boy fans who aren't so quick on the draw, the pop-punk band's upcoming tour is sold out. On the bright side, the band took to their Facebook page to assure everyone that they "plan on being a band for a long time," so all hope is not lost. [AltPress]
