Isbells, 'Illusion' -- Song Premiere

Upon listening to the band's newest single "Illusion," we're immediately reminded of the pastoral hymns in Fleet Foxes' 2008 self-titled debut: Gentle bass drums carefully massaging gut-wrenching acoustic guitars; harmonies covered in scraggly vines.
Isbells are adding to a continuing aesthetic change in folk music -- connecting with the wilderness through ghostly chord progressions and spine-tingling vocals. The subsequent "illusion" that the Belgian group broadcasts is of subtle memories, disappearing as soon as they arise.
