These experiences, combined with the breakup of his touring indie act Oblio, formed the basis for his solo project Photo Ops and the new album How to Say Goodbye.
Price's standout single "You Said You Were" really showcases the beleaguered musician's voice, worn out with grit but stronger than ever.
"A few years ago, one of my best friends called my wife a 'bitch' at my bachelor party. We had several fights after that but have made up since," he tells Spinner. "We are still very close. This song captured that moment of pain and anger."
