Photo Ops, 'You Said You Were' -- Song Premiere

Nashville songwriter Terry Price has had it pretty rough these last few years. The singer was diagnosed with Bell's palsy in 2009, paralyzing half of his face. Just two years later his father died suddenly of a heart attack.

These experiences, combined with the breakup of his touring indie act Oblio, formed the basis for his solo project Photo Ops and the new album How to Say Goodbye.

Price's standout single "You Said You Were" really showcases the beleaguered musician's voice, worn out with grit but stronger than ever.

"A few years ago, one of my best friends called my wife a 'bitch' at my bachelor party. We had several fights after that but have made up since," he tells Spinner. "We are still very close. This song captured that moment of pain and anger."
