This Week in Music History: Feb. 24 - March 2 -- Keith Richards Busted, Ray Charles Strangled
- Posted by Aaron Brophy
Hulton Archive
In 2009 he scored Best Boxed Or Special Limited Edition Package for that Neil Young Archives Vol. I (1963-1972) box set, then a year later he won Best Rock Song for "Angry World."
We'll let that sink in a bit.
At least the awards powers-that-be have been kinder to another jean jacket rock hero who only had to wait 12 years or so to get official recognition.
