The Airborne Toxic Event, 'The Storm' -- Song Premiere

Los Angeles rockers the Airborne Toxic Event, are gearing up to release their third full-length album, Such Hot Blood. But before the record hits store shelves this spring, you can hear the band's new song "The Storm."

The new track features a delicate folk intro that eventually opens into a rip-roaring ballad reminiscent of U2's "With or Without You," combined with the gruff vocals of Springsteen.

The band is able to broadcast a sense of calm before "The Storm" really picks up, throwing about distant harmonies in a wind full of guitars and piano fury.

ATE worked with acclaimed producer Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Tom Waits) on Such Hot Blood, giving the record a little bit of Nashville gusto and a clean polish. Stream "The Storm" below, and grab the band's new EP The Secret, out March 11 via Island/Def Jam.
