Morrissey at the Staples Center: Exclusive Photos

Last night (March 1) at the Staples Center, Morrissey made his highly anticipated second appearance since his hospitalization for an infection that caused him to postpone his original tour plans.

Having canceled his appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" earlier this week after finding out he would be co-guesting with Duck Dynasty, with whom Morrissey had moral qualms, there was much speculation on whether or not the Staples Center would comply with his wish to have an all vegetarian event and what exactly it would mean if they didn't.

Upon entering the Staples Center, it was quite clear that all the McDonald's and most of the regular food stations had been closed down and many other food stations had been replaced with all vegetarian friendly options. It was reported some of the concession waiters were selling meat products, however, it seemed far and few between.

Kristeen Young and the legendary Patti Smith opened the show and later Patrick Dempsey (yes, McDreamy) very proudly introduced Morrissey by admirably describing him as unapologetic for his choices and beliefs.
