Adele, James Bond Movie: Singer Tapped to Write Another Theme Song, Talks New Music Plans

According to Britain's The Sun, producers want the singer to work on music for the films the way Shirley Bassey did, who sang various songs for Bond movies including "Diamonds Are Forever", "Moonraker" and "Goldfinger."
A source told the paper, "Producers are thrilled by how well the song has been received and hope Adele's presence on the next film will replicate that success. They want her to become as synonymous with Bond as Dame Shirley."
Although it looks like Adele will be pretty busy working on the Bond music, it might be some time before we hear a follow-up to 21. She recently said she will only release a new album when she has "something to sing about." She explained, "They'll [new songs] come when they're ready."

No offense to the talented Adele, but I'd like to hear another artist's take. Part of the 007 appeal is speculating who will do the all important title track and hearing their take on the franchise musically.
