Beach House, 'Wishes' -- Eric Wareheim Directs Insane New Video

Fact: Every time Eric Wareheim of "Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job!" directs a music video, it automatically becomes the de facto greatest music video ever. However, the new video for Beach House's song "Wishes," off 2012's critically and commercially successful Bloom, may claim that spot permanently. Sorry, Major Lazer.

Ray Wise, known for his role as Leland Palmer in "Twin Peaks," stars as the half time singer/coach, effectively serving as the equivalent to Beyoncé in Eric Wareheim's bizarro parallel universe. But the real show-stopper has to be the horse head mask, whose recurring appearance takes "Wishes" from a Beach House music video to Wareheim's love letter to the internet.

Eric even pulls an Alfred Hitchcock and appears in the crowd, presumably awestruck by the very jiggly cheerleaders. Also worthy of note: the male cheerleaders performing martial arts stunts. We never thought of Beach House's hazy dreampop as so ... dynamic. And horse-related.
