- Three-piece indie rock band the Cribs, from Wakefield, England, features twins Gary and Ryan Jarman and their younger brother Ross Jarman.
- The song 'Hey Scenesters!' (off the album 'The New Fella's') was chosen as one of NME's "50 Greatest Indie Anthems of All Time."
- The guys in the Cribs are personal friends with the Kaiser Chiefs. The Cribs opened for their mates on a 2005 European tour.
